This block is part of my Valentine's Day collection. "Smitten" was created by painting with enamels on glass then fired in my kiln.  A colorful purple, pink and blue background creates interest, but the star of the show is the textured heart fused to the surface. This heart is composed of similar color glass balls fused in the kiln just enough to adhere but still maintain their texture! I really love the way this one came out.
